Note by 121DSpCeTile/sSlab1: this code is generated by ChatGPT. It does work though.

Select a TrueType/OpenType .ttf file to remove Unicode mappings for U+FFFE and U+FFFF. The required format 4 0xFFFF end-of-table sentinel is preserved. Processing happens locally in your browser; your font is not uploaded.

What this tool does

Rebuilds cmap formats 4, 12, and 13, excluding U+FFFE/U+FFFF mappings.
Keeps the mandatory format 4 sentinel intact.
Updates SFNT table checksums and the whole-font checksum adjustment.
Preserves the original and downloads a separate repaired copy.

Note: Uncommon cmap formats are preserved unchanged and reported. Always test the output and keep a backup of your original font.
